Suspended attachments are a particular variant of vertical loading attachments, expressly designed to handle long hanging parts such as shear blades, shafts, etc.
Unlike the vertical tools, however, they are hung on the wall of the pit furnace, instead of resting on the bottom. In fact, suspended equipment has a different type of anchorage compared to vertical load equipment, but otherwise the operation is the same.
